(Lexington, KY & Edgewood, KY) UK Federal Credit Union and Cove Federal Credit Union are pleased to announce a merger agreement, subject to regulatory approval and a vote of Cove Federal Credit Union’s membership. This announcement comes after thoughtful consideration between both credit unions in terms of service, sustainability and growth. The Board of Directors of each credit union has unanimously approved the merger. The combined organization will operate under the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union leadership and name.

Beginning May 1st if a Cove member goes to a credit union to use shared branching, be prepared for a change. If you go to a credit union and your driver's license is out of state for that credit union, you will have to do an ID Check to complete your transaction. This change is for transaction when cash or a check is taken out.
