Cove Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors

Dear Members of Cove Federal Credit Union,

The Nominating Committee received applications from three individuals to fill three open positions on Cove Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee accepted all applicants. Therefore, the Secretary of Cove Federal Credit Union announced the following persons have been named as candidates in the election of three members to Cove Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors:

Sandy Delaney – Sandy recently retired from St. Elizabeth Healthcare where she worked as a nurse for 44 years. Sandy obtained a degree from the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky. Sandy has been a member of Cove FCU since 1980 and served on the Board since 2000. Sandy is currently Vice-Chairperson of Cove’s Board of Directors.

Dan Moser – Dan was elected to Cove’s Board of Directors in 2017. Dan had a long career in various financial roles including serving as EVY/Managing Officer of the Burnett Federal Savings Bank which was located in Northern Kentucky. Dan is a graduate of Xavier University and has attended classes at the American Institute of Banking. Dan resides in Northern Kentucky and has been a member since 2016.

Ryan Pitts – Ryan is a financial planner and owner of Retirement Security Group. Ryan graduated from Northern Kentucky University where he focused on Personal Financial Services and Business Management. Ryan began his career as a financial planner in 2008 and hold the Certified Financial Planner designation. Ryan is a lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky and has been a credit union member since 2011. Ryan is currently the Chairman of Cove’s Supervisory Committee.

In addition to the members nominated by the Nominating Committee for the open Board seats, you may nominate other members through a petition process. To nominate a credit union member for an open Board seat, you must submit a petition signed by at least 75 members of the credit union. The nomination by petition must include a signed statement from the nominee that he or she is agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected. Nominations by petition will be accepted until Friday, April 10, 2020 and can be dropped off at our office during operating hours. Ballots for the 2020 election will be sent via email or via the US Post Office on or about April 20, 2020. Elected candidates will be introduced at the Annual Meeting on May 20 th , 2020 at our office location, 577 Dudley Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
